How It’s Made
ID Splints are fully digitally designed (CAD) and fully digitally fabricated (CAM) using the following digital process:
1. Upload
Upload your intraoral scans to our cloud-based Sharefile.
No scanner? No problem. We will digitize your models and use your construction bite.
2. Mount
We mount the digital models on a virtual articulator and design the ID Splint to your RX.
3. Print
The splints are printed in an ultra clear resin using a special dedicated in-house printer at Inman Orthodontic Laboratory.
4. Hand Articulate
Splints are then hand articulated to ensure maximum comfort for the patient and returned on 3D models.
